Before registering for this event, you should be fit to participate, seeking medical advice if appropriate. If you have a medical condition that may affect your ability to safely participate, please consider informing us in confidence at info@grow.ie. This will help us support you as best we can during the event.
Your safety is of paramount importance. Please ensure that you follow all safety instructions when participating in events and read these open water swimming safety tips.
We have taken steps to eliminate the chance of injury but there is a certain minimal risk in every activity, and you should withdraw from the event if you have any doubts.
Grow Mental Health its employees, agents and volunteers accept no liability whatsoever to participants or spectators in respect of any loss, damage or personal injury which may be sustained during this event other than personal injury caused by our negligence.
Liability cannot be accepted for any damage, injury or loss arising from the negligence of participants.
Age
There is no age restriction for this fundraiser. We do however assume an average level of competence and maturity. All participants under 18 require parental consent and it is for parents to decide if the event is appropriate for their child, seeking additional information, if necessary. All under 16’s should be accompanied by an adult.
Fundraising
Registration varies for events and is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Photography
If you submit photographs of the event, they may be used to publicise future events and the work of the charity generally including on our web site and social media.
