Be part of something powerful this Summer Solstice
This June 18–21, celebrate the longest days of the year by taking a refreshing dip for mental health - your own and those around you who need support.
As the sun sets, we’ll come together in hope, community, and solidarity.
Register today as an individual or create/join a team, then pick a beach, lake, plunge pool, or river near you.
Next, invite others to join you or help you raise essential funds that will help us keep our support groups free and immediately accessible.
Be one of the first to set up a DIP@DUSK fundraising page and you’ll receive a pair of exclusive Grow Mental Health novelty sunglasses — perfect for your summer solstice swim!
If you want to go a step further and create a DIP@DUSK event, send us an email and we'll work together to make sure it's a success. fundraising@grow.ie

Tips for your DIP@DUSK
Always respect the water and read the guidelines above for safe swimming.
Know your own limits and listen to advice from officials regarding weather and water conditions.
Keep warm!
The weather can be unpredictable in Ireland.
If the summer soltice is a chilly one, arrive warm, get ready to swim quickly, and do not stand around on shore in your swimwear.
Be sure to have dry clothes and even a hot drink ready to go for your post-dip warm-up.
And if you're still feeling cold, the fastest way to properly warm up after you swim is exercise. A brisk walk after you have fully dressed and recovered, or running on the spot, or jumping jacks will stop the shivering in no time.
Make a Dip plan and find a buddy.
Familiarise yourself with the location of nearby lifeguard stations or emergency services. Having a buddy system is also advisable to assist if need and will double the fun.
In cold water, stay relatively close to the shore so you can return to the shore quickly when you are ready to leave.
Our services are free of charge.
Your support will mean so much to people all over Ireland who reach out to us daily. People who are feeling alone in their mental health challenges. People who want to be seen and heard in their struggles.
