Friday 3rd Jul
2 years ago when I started running, I ran the mini marathon to raise money for cancer research for my father in law. Never did I think it would change my life. It’s now a non negotiable in my weekly routine. Running has taught me resilience, to never give up on goals, it has given me friendships, shown me I can do hard things, but most importantly, it has made me realise that the physical pain that comes with pushing yourself, never outweighs mental pain and when I run, it’s keeps my mind quiet. That’s why I run. I cannot wait for the Trasna experience and to give back to an amazing charity again. Every step will be worth it and it will be an experience I’ll never forget. I can’t wait to show young Sarahann she can do these things! Never give up! You’re just as good as everyone else, believe.
