Friday 19th JunAfter such a successful event last year, I was incredibly excited to get involved again for Trasna 2026.
This event holds a special place in my heart. Shortly after Trasna 2025, I found myself dealing with the sudden passing of my dad. During that difficult time, the support I received from my friends and peers, along with continuing to run, was a real saving grace. In many ways, that’s exactly the kind of support that Grow Mental Health provides to so many people in our communities every day.
This year, we want to exceed the €30,000 raised last year. By running across the country and raising even more funds, we can help Grow continue supporting more people who need it most.
Over the last three years, I’ve become extremely passionate about running. Having completed three marathons and many other races, I can honestly say that Trasna is an extremely unique event. It pushes us to our limits, alongside great friends, all while raising money for a fantastic charity.
For me, running has always been about sharing the road and supporting one another along the way, not just during an event like this, but in life in general. That’s exactly what makes Trasna so unique, and why it means so much to me ❤️
